In the field of high-throughput plant phenotyping, plant toxicology, many different factors should be taken into account from the product design to provide an efficient solution. Plant phenotyping is often closely linked to the use of automated greenhouses. Scientists need to be as more flexible as possible while using such tools to broaden their research field. Elcom and Viewpoint have decided to bring together their respective state of the art technology to offer the most consistent, reliable and open solution to the plant analysis community. Phenoware is a new system co-developed by experts in transfer systems and image processing to assess now and future needs of plant phenotyping. Phenoware has been designed in order to bring industrial standards to the research field thus increasing the level of efficiency and reliability of the system.
